My name is Michele. I am a mom, wife, PT, amateur potter, avid knitter and I have always had a penchant for DIY before DIY was cool!

I am starting this blog in hopes that it will be a perfect way for me to look back on difficult days and see how far I have come in this often lonely journey of grief in my sons estrangement from me.

The estrangement became clear to me in 2016. I can not believe it has been 9 years since I have had any relationship with my son. His teenage years were strained to say the least. But I could see him, hear his voice, and believe things were gonna be ok.

I hope this blog provides a safe space and encouragement to anyone reading who may be going through this grief process.
